  • Each of the 5 Bedrooms has its own private ensuite full Bathroom. There is also a half bath downstairs in the hallway off the kitchen and main living area.

  • Our Kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to cook and serve a meal to your large group.

  • Well situated in the private backyard, our 6-person hot tub is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a peaceful time with family and friends. Open all year.

  • We proudly use Comphy Co Luxury Bed Linens and Bamboo towels. Soft and indulgent — they add an extra touch of class for your comfort and enjoyment.

  • We have a small parking lot with 5 off the street parking spots located right beside the Cabin. If more spots are needed there is several more spots available street side in front of the house.

  • We had eight adults, 3 couples and 2 singles. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which we loved it. Cooked at home and kitchen was well stocked.

  • Great place for large groups like us (4 families)! Easy and quick access to skiing in the Cottonwood Canyons. Many conveniences nearby. Great amenities -- hot tub, well stocked kitchen, and a full bathroom for every bedroom! We would definitely stay here again if we return to ski in SLC.

  • What a beautiful and unique place with a fascinating history! Esther was extremely helpful, friendly, and responsive. The kitchen is very well equipped and our extended family enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in the home. I highly recommended Engen Hus!

  • The rental with Esther exceeded all expectations. The location was excellent: short drive to restaurants and stores, and easy access to the highway. The house was clean, well-furnished, and very nicely provisioned, with enough rooms to lodge our group of adults. In ranking the house a 5 star out of 5, you would need to rank Esther a 10 as a host. She was easy to deal with, communicated clearly when I required information, and provided guidance and made some accommodations that were helpful during the stay.
